Every calculator and worked example on this site produces an estimate. Your real entitlement depends on your written contract, your basic wage and fixed allowances, the length and continuity of your service, how you left your job, and the official interpretation of the law as applied to your facts. An estimate is a starting point for your own verification — never a final figure to demand, sign, or budget around.

Verify with the official sources

Regulations change, and summaries — including ours — can lag behind. Before acting on anything you read here, verify it with:

  • Your employer and your signed contract — your contract’s terms govern your case first;
  • The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development — hrsd.gov.sa;
  • The Qiwa platform — qiwa.sa;
  • GOSI — gosi.gov.sa — for social insurance questions;
  • Musaned — musaned.com.sa — for domestic worker matters.

Conflicts and uncertainty

Where reputable sources disagree — for example, the 30 vs 60 day notice period or overtime formula variants — we say so on the page rather than pretending to be certain. Pages also carry flags where a figure should be verified. Treat every flagged point as homework, not as settled fact.
